Interview of Gold Bricks FMS Head of Global Account, Jack Rrapo

We, as a human being, are always pondering about dreaming, progress or achievement in our professional life. In other words, we wish that all of our dreams come true.

But, in Gold Bricks FMS case, we are strongly questioning this very fundamental belief. What we are asking for is whether the dream of achieving something shall be called a dream after all.

I am lucky enough to meet and work with some very talented colleagues here at Gold Bricks. They do all share my firm belief that progress or achievement in our life is not just a dream, but a certain reality.

The question is; how can we make our dreams a certain reality?

If we pause for a moment and have self-deep thinking of who we are and what we wish,  then we can slowly rediscover that everything we see and do is real.

Than, the next question we are pondering is; why are we so confused between dream and reality?

To understand this, we need to go no further then things surrounding us.

At Gold Bricks, the reality starts within our team, our partners, our clients. We can clearly see that we are based on three pillars; multinational talented team, multinational clients, multinational partners.

  • What is the reality within our multinational team?

As we are truly a global outward thinking enterprise, we truly need global outward thinking team. Few of the questions we must continuously ask to ourselves are; how to make a team, how to mix their talent and come up with the best result, how to make them work as a team, what worries them, are they getting heard, where they fit best, what opportunities they get, etc.

  • What is the reality with our multinational clients?

Given our business line we are in, we may assume that cost savings is the most important factor for our client when deciding a partner. Although cost savings play an important role for both parties, this is not the only factor determining the outcome.

They are taking into account human factor, technical factor, environmental factor, etc. Global outward clients are well aware of the fact that only a global outward partner can bring them certainty in this uncertain world.

  • What is the reality with our multinational partners?

At Gold Bricks, our philosophy is to positively embrace our partners, competitors, suppliers, etc.

We might as well ask why do we have to embrace our partners and competitors. Competitors and competition are very good when we understand & respect the other party and also being understood & respected by the other party. Only through cooperation, exchange, sharing knowledge, etc we will be able to fully understand client’s needs.

In conclusion, dreaming of what we want to achieve, is simple, counterproductive and waste of time. Achieving of what we dream for,  is what makes us different.

We all have the right do achieve what we want to achieve. The question is; are we ready.
