On April 27, Hyundai GBFMS and ADT Caps announced that they signed an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) / Security Integrated Solution Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance cooperation between the two companies’ respective field of expertise.
Hyundai GBFMS, the only Korean Integrated Facility Management company, provides IFM services to multinational corporations across Korea and APAC. Hyundai GBFMS provides full IFM services such as engineering, mechanical, cleaning, landscaping, catering, etc. to support global clients’ commercial buildings and facilities efficiency.
Hyundai GBFMS, which was merged with Hyundai Group in November 2020, has already been recognized in Korea and abroad for its expertise in IFM services in partnerships with global IFM companies. This collaboration with ADT Caps will allow Hyundai GBFMS customers to receive increased expertise in the security field while ADT Caps will expand its opportunities in the IFM market.
ADT Caps, a subsidiary of SK Group, is a global leader in unmanned security, access control, and video/information security and provides various integrated security solutions. ADT Caps is expanding its influence in the market by introducing non-face-to-face access security solutions in response to COVID19 and plans to strengthen its services in the facility management sector.
ADT Caps recently started providing access control systems to Hyundai GBFMS’ global clients’ facilities and is also preparing to launch new services shortly. Hyundai GBFMS plans to maximize the synergy between the two companies by introducing ADT Caps solutions to customers.
Yoonho Kim, Vice President of Hyundai GBFMS said, “This collaboration with ADT Caps will provide customers with a variety of customized security solutions with enhanced IT, telecommunications, and information security. ADT Caps will also provide existing customers with advanced real estate facility management services through IFM services.”
Indeed, with the development and integration of smart concepts to facility management techniques, IFM know how is emerging as a key competency in smart solutions.
